Using the calculator
TwoCut Tools provides this calculator and its worked examples for general project planning. You may use the tool without an account and print its output for your own project. Enter actual measurements and check the boundary rule before relying on a table.
Accuracy and project decisions
The formulas assume a straight horizontal span, equal-width battens, and equal clear openings. Heights are uniform in the material estimate. Fractional marks are rounded to the nearest 1/16 inch and should not be added cumulatively. Stock lengths, cutting losses, rails, openings, and site conditions are not automatically included.
Check the results against your wall before buying, cutting, or fastening material. The calculator is not structural, electrical, architectural, or code-compliance advice. It does not certify that a particular installation is suitable for your property.
Availability and responsibility
The site and its output are provided as available, without a guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or fit every project. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TwoCut Tools does not accept liability for losses arising from reliance on unverified measurements or estimates. These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Content and external links
You may refer to or link to this site and use its calculated measurements. Do not republish the complete website or present its content as your own. External links are provided for reference; the operators of those sites control their own content and privacy practices.
